This one is for a very special friend... She is a teacher and will be putting this in her roomthis year!!! She is so awesome and I am very thankful she asked me to do this for her!!!

- While preparing for my son's 3rd birthday, I came across a picture of some very cute pirate cookies with instructions on how to make them. (Thanks to pintrest....) I decided I could make them for his party. I researched until I found the best recipe for shortbread cookies and royal icing, then headed to the store for supplies and tools. I made a few changes to the recipe, did a "trial run" with my family and co-workers being the taste-testers.... AND....they were a hit! I now have dozens and dozens of cookie cutters, have made cookies for any occasion and I absolutely LOVE doing this!
